Kenneth Lee “JR” Hannah Jr, age 75 of Cowan, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2026, at Life Care Center of Tullahoma. A native of Franklin County, he was born in Winchester on February 27, 1951, to the late Kenneth Lee and Frances Bonita (Short) Hannah. Before his retirement, JR was employed as a machinist at Wilton. A hard worker throughout the work week, he looked forward to having a good time on the weekend. In his younger years, he enjoyed spending time on the mountain riding ATVs and working on cars. More recently, his favorite pastimes included visiting the beach and Smoky Mountains, as well as watching Gunsmoke. An avid sports fan, he also enjoyed watching football and NASCAR. Most of all, he cherished the time spent with his beloved family and friends. He had a wonderful personality and never met a stranger. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Austin; and great-grandchild, Evelynn Raines. JR is survived by his loving and devoted wife of thirty-eight years, Sheila Hannah; daughter, Stephanie (Mike) Gray; bonus children, Jill Skipworth and Brad Stoker; grandchildren, Trenton (Cecilia) Gray, Gracie Stoker, Ian Skipworth, and Joel Skipworth; great-grandchildren, Waylon Stoker, Emersyn Raines, and Levi Haley; and siblings, Steve (Misty) Hannah and Pam Wilkerson; and several nieces and nephews. Private Services are planned.
