Antonios “Tony” Pasalakis, age 79, long-time resident of Decherd, Tennessee, passed away at his home on June 28, 2026. Tony was born in Ierapetra, Crete in Greece on January 22, 1947. He was preceded in death by his parents Ekaterini and Manolis Pasalakis, as well as brother, Yiannis Pasalakis; and sisters, Elizabeth and Evangelia (all from Ierapetra, Crete, Greece). Tony is survived by his family here in Decherd and many friends. Of Greek Orthodox faith, he served in the Greek Navy for over six years, where he traveled and saw the world. He enjoyed fishing and watching football and soccer. Tony devoted his life to his career in the restaurant business and worked most of his life at Western Sirloin Steak House. He was retired at the time of his death. Visitation will be from 11am-12pm on Monday, July 27, 2026, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 12:00 pm in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner. Interment will be at Franklin Memorial Gardens.
