Coffee County to Review Pickleball Site Plan, Hear Rural-Service Reports Tuesday

A proposed pickleball facility on Blanton Chapel Road is scheduled for review by the Coffee County Planning Commission on Tuesday, October 27.

The commission meets at 4 p.m. The county calendar lists the location as Conference Room 1 at the Administrative Plaza, 1329 McArthur Street in Manchester.

The agenda identifies the proposed facility’s property as map 074, parcel 006.05. It calls for a site-plan review but does not provide the number of courts or an opening date. The scheduled review is not project approval.

Later Tuesday, the Health, Welfare and Recreation Committee meets at 6 p.m. at the same location. Its agenda lists Tim Morris under a rural-water item, followed by an animal-control report and a rural-fire report and discussion.

Both agendas include a public-comment period near the beginning of the meeting.

Residents can review the documents through Coffee County’s online Agenda Center. The Planning Commission agenda also links to the county’s YouTube streams page. Check the county’s notices for any changes before attending.
