Decherd’s Boo in the Park will bring trick-or-treating, games and a costume contest to Hank Weddington Park on Friday, October 30.
The city’s official event flyer lists costume judging at 5:45 p.m., ahead of the event’s 6 p.m. start. Families entering the costume contest should note the earlier judging time when planning their visit.
The Halloween event will include inflatables and games, food vendors and trick-or-treating, according to the flyer posted on Decherd’s website.
The city’s calendar text contains an inconsistent morning time, but the attached flyer gives the evening schedule. Families should follow the evening schedule on the flyer and call the city with any questions. An ending time has not been confirmed.
Residents with questions about the event can call 931-967-5181. The city’s Boo in the Park page carries the official flyer for families checking the schedule before heading to the park.
