Etta “Ann” Roberson of Manchester, Tennessee passed from this life on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at NHC of Tullahoma in Tullahoma, Tennessee at the age of 89 years.
Per her wishes she will be cremated with a memorial service being planned for a later date.
A native of Nashville, Tennessee, she is the daughter of the late Saint Elmore and Bertha Isabelle Cross Romines. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Edmund Allen Roberson, one son, Earl Lee Roberson, brothers, Charles, Johnny and Elmer Romines, sisters, Martha Bender, Alice Hannah, Gladys Romines, Jean Carter, and Louise Gilbert, two grandchildren, Robert Alexander Roberson and Steven Allen Roberson.
Ann was a good cook and a home body. She loved her family and always put them first. She loved her children and grandchildren, but she was quick to discipline, and they often called her ‘switch happy” because she would make them go and pick their own switch. She enjoyed singing, dancing and especially loved George Jones, Conway Twitty, John Wayne and George Strait. Ann loved the Lord and was a good God-fearing woman. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Her survivors include, one daughter, Nancy Darlene Williams of Manchester, Tennessee, daughter in law, Glenda Arlene Roberson, brothers, James Russell Romines (Linda) of Woodbury, Tennessee, Howard Eugene Romines of Illinois, sister, Lottie Ella Bender of Springfield, Tennessee, grandchildren, Brandy Baker (Adam) of Manchester, Tennessee, Melanie Roberson (Keith) of Kingston Springs, Tennessee, great grandchildren, Joshua Allen Baker (Maggie) of Illinois, Kason Lee Roberson of Kingston Springs, Tennessee, Rex Alexander Baker of Ohio and Karlee Jade Roberson (Zach) of Tennessee Ridge, Tennessee. Ann is also survived by one great great grandson, Bennett Miller, and two great great granddaughters, Elliana Margaret Baker, and Marcilene Iris Baker
