Billy Dean Allen of Tullahoma, Tennessee passed from this life on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at Life Care Center of Tullahoma at the age of 82 years.
A native of Normandy, Tennessee, he is the son of the late Frank and Dena Teal Allen. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Trenton Eric Allen in 2023, and one sister, Charlotte Allen Womack.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 10, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home in Tullahoma, Tennessee with Pastor Tim McGeehee officiating. Burial will follow at Franklin Memorial Gardens in Winchester, Tennessee. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
A self-made businessman, Billy began his journey in 1966with the Tullahoma Laundry and Dry Cleaning Company. In the early 70’s he began Snow White Laundry and Dry Cleaning. During that time, he married Frankie Morrison in 1962. In 1966 they welcomed their first bundle of joy, Marcie and then in 1970, Trenton Eric. Billy became a well-known and well-loved member of the community through charitable events with the Lion’s Club while also being a member of the Tullahoma Chamber of Commerce.
He was a very giving and charitable man. Dignity, honor, respect, courage, determination and loving are all words that describe Billy Allen. Billy was a strong believer and Christian for over 60 years. He was a founding and charter member of the downtown Lion’s Club. He organized the Fish for Sight fishing tournament for the downtown Lion’s Club. He was a very stout supporter of the community with various events and causes such as the UGF Drive and the Big Brothers Telethon with the American Legion Post. He has been recognized for his countless achievements throughout the community, and he was greatly loved and will be terribly missed.
His survivors include one daughter, Marcie Allen Wilkinson of Tullahoma, Tennessee, brother, Joe Allen (Nancy) of Nolensville, Tennessee, and three grandchildren, Erica, Caleb and Lynn Marie.
