Nancy Jean Moorehead Andrews of Winchester, Tennessee passed from this life on Friday, May 1, 2026, at Life Care Center in Centerville, Tennessee at the age of 89 years.
A native of Fayetteville, Tennessee she is the daughter of the late Gordon and Annie Jean Moorehead. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Roy Andrews, son, William Ricky Andrews, and sister, Mary Joyce Cobb.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Lynchburg Funeral Home in Lynchburg, Tennessee with Troy Deaton officiating. Burial will follow at Lynchburg Funeral Home in Lynchburg, Tennessee. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
Nancy was a high school graduate and worked for many years as a seamstress at DeLong’s Sportswear. She was of the Baptist faith and when she was able, she attended Beech Hill Baptist Church in Franklin County. She enjoyed being outside and working in her flowers. Nancy enjoyed crocheting and going shopping with her daughter, Joyce. After her health wouldn’t allow her to crochet any more, Nancy enjoyed coloring. She loved her little church and her church family. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She will be forever missed by her family.
Her survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Ann (Michael) Palmer of Mobile, Alabama, Joyce (Jeff) Smith of Nunnley, Tennessee, grandchildren, Jason, Justin, Jordon, David, Melissa, Crissy, K J, and Tiffany, great grandchildren, Amber, Katlyn, Haley, Ashley, Olivia, Grayson, Brooklyn Savannah, Harley, Jacey, Adalyn, Nate, Million, Sissy, Carter, Jaxon, Talon, Nova, Jameson, Branson, and Chevy. She is also survived by five great great grandchildren.
