Carolyn Faye McBee, age 74, of Manchester, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. She was born in Decherd, Tennessee, to the late Arthur and Maggie (Stewart) Elliott. Carolyn retired after thirty years with SAS Company and cherished time with her family. She enjoyed baking, especially her well-known hummingbird cake, reading Nicholas Sparks novels, crossword puzzles, coloring, crocheting and watching westerns. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Billy Elliott and Ernest Elliott; grandson, Adam McBee; grandson-in-law, Damien Hodges; and longtime companion, Joseph “Joey” Garner. Survivors include her children, Shawn (Dorothy) McBee, Stefanie McBee and Jonathan Edwards (Dee Howard); six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; her best friend and sister at heart, Brenda (David) Garner; and extended family. Services were held privately.
