Wallace Ray Potter of Lynchburg, Tennessee passed from this life on Monday, April 27, 2026, at Lynchburg Nursing Center in Lynchburg, Tennessee at the age of 59 years.
A native of Huntsville, Alabama, he is the son of the late Thomas Gilbert and Faye Sharp Potter.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Lynchburg Funeral Home in Lynchburg, Tennessee. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the time of service. The family invites you to come and reminisce and share your favorite memories. Per Mr. Potter’s request, he will be cremated following the services.
Wallace was a high school graduate and a welder by trade. He loved Alabama football, camping and road trips. He would travel and try all of the new restaurants because he had a great love for different kinds of foods. Wallace loved his children and his grandchildren and enjoyed the time he spent with them. When his children were young, one of his greatest joys was taking them swimming. He was considered a ladies’ man and was always joyful and happy. He was loved by all who knew him and he never met a stranger. He enjoyed life and the time spent with those he loved. He will be greatly missed.
HIs survivors include his wife, Brandi Moon Potter of Fayetteville, Tennessee, children, JR Potter of Elora, Tennessee, Zack Potter of Fayetteville, Tennessee, Tony Potter of Fayetteville, Tennessee, Tyler Potter of New Hope, Tennessee, Christina Potter of Woodville, Tennessee, Melinda (Josh) Clark of Owens Crossroads, Alabama, brothers, Thomas Potter of Huntsville, Alabama, Steven Potter of Ardmore, Alabama and Michael Potter of Huntsville, Alabama, grandchildren, Laila Schilling, Aaron Whitten, Paxton Clark, River Clark, Payton Clark and Nicholas Anders.
