Sharon Ann Tiesen

October 26, 1956 – June 3, 2026

Sharon Ann Tiesen of Normandy, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, June 3, 2026. She was born on October 26, 1956.
Born in Oakland, California, Sharon was a vibrant soul who lived life with a smile on her face and laughter in her heart. For 38 years, she was the beloved wife of William “Bruce” Tiesen. She was a dedicated entrepreneur, well-known as the former owner of Body Works in Tullahoma, Tennessee, and for working hand-in-hand with her husband to run their business, Tiesen Electric Inc.
Sharon was a woman of many passions. She was a gifted baker, an elaborate storyteller, and a dedicated animal lover. She found great joy in crafting and decorating, which frequently led her on shopping trips to Hobby Lobby. She also had a deep appreciation for music and truly loved listening to all genres. Whenever her health permitted, Sharon loved to travel, especially to the tropical shores of the Caribbean; the Dominican Republic was her favorite.
Above all, Sharon was a fighter. Strong, determined, and deeply resilient, her family wants those who knew her to remember that “God gives his toughest battles to his toughest soldiers.” She faced every challenge with unwavering strength and will be forever missed.
Sharon was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Mazza Blessing; her brother, Jackie Blessing Jr.; and her nephew, Bryan McIntyre.
Sharon is survived by her devoted husband of 38 years, William “Bruce” Tiesen; her children, Melissa (Chad) Garrett of Estill Springs, Tennessee, and Jaime (Larry) Hefley of Scottsboro, Alabama; her father, Jack Blessing; her sister, Linda (Dick) McIntyre of Caldwell, Idaho; three grandchildren, William Benedict, Lylah Bell, and Kylah Bell; her nieces, Becky (Kevin) Fish of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Lisa (Jeff) Baswell of Petaluma, California; and many beloved cousins and lifelong friends.
Arrangements for cremation are being handled by the family, and a Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date.
