Robert Leonard Helton Jr. of Estill Springs, Tennessee passed from this life on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 54 years.
A native of Princess Anne, Maryland, he is the son of the late Robert Leonard Sr. and Bonnie Sue Bolden Helton. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Stevie Helton and one grandson, Aiden May.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 1, 2026, at 10:00 AM from the chapel of Lynchburg Funeral Home in Lynchburg, Tennessee. Burial will follow at New Center Grove Cemetery in Estill Springs, Tennessee. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM also at the funeral home.
Robert was a high school graduate and a welder by trade. He was also of the Church of Christ faith.
HIs survivors include his wife, Chasity Long Helton of Estill Springs, Tennessee, sons, Robert Keith Helton and Bentley Kye Helton both of Estill Springs, Tennessee, daughter, Catherine Dawn Helton of Kentucky, brother, Andrew (Amy) Bolden of Cornersville, Tennessee, sisters, Tracy Helton Riley and Shelly Helton both of Maryland, and one grandchild, Anna Marie May of Winchester, Tennessee.
