Raymond Bryan McElroy, age 62, of Winchester, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2026, at Bethany Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Nashville. Born in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, he was the son of Mary Jane Youree Santi and the late James Raymond McElroy. Bryan attended Webb High School, where he was a standout basketball player, and later earned his bachelor’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University. He loved animals, especially his cats and dogs, and was an avid sports fan with a particular passion for the Tennessee Volunteers and Atlanta Braves. Bryan is survived by his mother, Jane; wife, Joan Bradford McElroy; sister, Emi (David) Tharp; stepson, Alex West; and his beloved cat, Kittie Pickle. He was preceded in death by his father, brother Frank McElroy and stepson Corey Marshall. A Celebration of Life was held September 5, 2026, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home.
