Nancy Sue Hubbell

Nancy Sue Hubbell 70, formerly of Bakersfield, CA went to be with her lord and savior on April 1st at Vanderbilt hospital in Tullahoma surrounded by family.

Born to Clifford and Donna Hubbell in Toledo Ohio.

Nancy enjoyed being around family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. On Sundays she enjoyed watching the Kansas City Chief’s. She loved reading the Bible, her favorite chapter was the book of Roman’s. She was an animal lover who loved the company of dogs. She had a fierce loving nature with a since of humor. She loved going for car rides, singing her favorite songs while snapping her fingers and a contagious smile. One of her favorite songs was “Starting over” by Chris Stapleton.

She was the one you’d run to for advise. The one to always scratch your back or give you a hug. Whatever it was she had you covered.

In her spare time when she was able she enjoyed to Crochet, reading books, card games, putting puzzles together and playing 10,000. She loved when people would call and come see her. Especially her family.

In addition to her parents she is proceeded in death by her brother Arthur Hubbell, sister Joyce Michael.

She is survived by her son Donovan (Kristy) Dixon of Arizona. Daughter Chrystal (Christopher) Ashby of Lynchburg, TN. Grandchildren Jason Whitley, Shon Taylor, Wade Guillette, Shane and Healther Dixon, Britney (Bradley) Tucker, Whitney (Tyler) Wilder, Trenton (Nessa) Sisk, and AnnaMarie Perkins. Great-grandchildren River Tucker, Oaklynn Dodson, and Alice Wilder. Sisters Barbie (Allen) Arrington, Peggy (Rodney) Michael and Robin Stephens of California and several nieces and nephews who all loved her dearly.

A celebration of life will be planned for family and friends at a later date.
