Mitchell Douglas Wilcox of Estill Springs, Tennessee passed from this life on Monday, March 23, 2026, at Vanderbilt Harton Hospital in Tullahoma, Tennessee at the age of 47 years.
A native of Manchester, Tennessee, he is the son of the late Mackie Wilcox and Shirley Faye Farris of Estill Springs and she survives him.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home in Tullahoma, Tennessee with Pastor Bobby McBee officiating. Friends may visit on Saturday at the funeral home from 10:00 am until the time of service.
Mitchell was an avid fisherman and loved hanging out with his friends and two nephews. He was a believer in God and a member of Westside Church of the Nazarene in Tullahoma, Tennessee. Mitchell had a most unique sense of humor and lit up a room with his wit and laughter. In his own words, he was the nephews “favoritest uncle”. He will be missed by all of those who love him.
His survivors include his mother and stepfather, Shirley and Bobby Farris of Estill Springs, Tennessee, sister, Monica Limbaugh of Manchester, Tennessee, two nephews, Trae Limbaugh and Corbin Limbaugh both of Manchester, Tennessee and his best friend, Tammy Steele of Huntland, Tennessee.
