June 30, 1960 – August 15, 2026
Michael Lewis Green, age 66, of Winchester, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 30, 1960, in Harvey, Illinois, to the late Mabry and Peggy (Brooks) Green.
Michael worked for many years as a concrete finisher. He was a hardworking man who enjoyed the simple things in life. In his free time, he loved fishing, playing horseshoes, and watching NASCAR. He especially enjoyed attending races at Talladega with his wife, where they made many special memories together over the years.
Michael was a man who enjoyed his solitude and was perfectly content spending time by himself, but nothing meant more to him than the family he loved so dearly. He cherished the time spent with those closest to him and had a special place in his heart for his beloved dog, Freckles.
Michael will be remembered for the love he had for his family, his independent spirit, and the many memories he leaves behind for those who knew and loved him.
Michael is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Lisa Green; daughter, Lenzi Black; grandchildren, Hillary Black, Tristin Mayes, Addison Mayes, Zack Black, and Dallas Black; one great grandchild on the way, Everest Black; siblings, Marsha (Ronnie) Worthen of Huntland, Cathy (Sam) McCord of Owens Crossroads, Alabama, Sandra Sims of Huntland, Daniel (Tracy) Green of Murfreesboro, and David (Michelle) Green of Enterprise, Alabama.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents, Mabry and Peggy Green.
