Kolter Lee Dingus

April 12, 2026 – April 12, 2026

“For these children we have prayed…” – 1 Samuel 1:27
Infant twin boys, Kolter Lee and Maverick Scott Dingus, were born prematurely on Sun., April 12 and were swaddled in love by their parents and family before being welcomed into the loving arms of Jesus a short time later.
While their earthly bodies were oh-so-small, they were perfect in every way — each having big, little feet and ten of the longest, tiniest fingers.
Cherished by their mommy and daddy and their family, they were cradled and cuddled,
ever-so-gently and only knew of love and adoration in their brief time here.
Kolter Lee was born at 5:09 p.m. weighing 13.1 ounces at 10.5 inches long.
Maverick Scott was born at 11:03 p.m. weighing one pound and was 11 inches long.
Kolter and Maverick will be remembered and forever loved by their parents, Hunter and Emily (Parks) Dingus of Tullahoma; maternal grandparents, Scott and Tara (Tucker) Parks of Lynchburg, paternal grandparents Jody and Lisa (Smythe) Dingus of Kingsport; an uncle, Sawyer Parks, of Knoxville, an aunt, Hannah Dingus and her partner, Joe Kennedy, of Kingsport; maternal great-grandmothers, Marie Moorehead Walker of Tullahoma and Donna Durm Tucker of Lynchburg, and paternal great-grandfather Allen Smythe of Kingsport, along with great-aunts, great-uncles, great-grandaunts, great-granduncles, and a multitude of cousins.
They are preceded in death by their maternal great-grandfathers: Robert Daniel (Danny) Tucker and Franklin Walker; paternal great-grandparents John and Bernice Dingus, and paternal great-grandmother Ann Smythe.
Letting go of our precious angel babies has been the greatest challenge, but we know they were met in Heaven with open arms.
