Kenneth Lee Durham, age 80 of Huntland, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2026, at Highpoint Health Winchester. He was born on September 14, 1945, in Winchester, to the late Thomas Ollie Warner and Mildred Durham. Growing up, Kenneth taught himself how to play guitar and later played with several bands. He previously worked for various sawmills and construction companies before retiring from the City of Huntland, where he worked in the street department. Throughout his life, he always worked on various cattle farms in the Huntland area. Daily you could find him either at B & B market or Huntland Café in the mornings and late afternoons at the Mini Markert. In his spare time, you could find him tinkering on various things, going to the local tractor pulls, watching the RFD channel, or sitting on the porch waving at the neighbors as they drove by. Kenneth was baptized at Huntland First Baptist Church and attended when he was able. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Janice (Fanning) Durham; children, Christina Dawn Durham and Kenneth Lee Durham Jr.; sisters, Joyce Meeks and Judy Durham; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18, 2026, from 1:00pm – 3:00pm at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held on Monday at 3:30pm at Mt.
