John Allen Ashley of Winchester, Tennessee passed from this life on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at the age of 68 years.
A native of Harvey, Illinois, he is the son of the late Noah Ashley and Marcia Manus. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by one daughter, Gloria Heinen.
Per his wishes, Mr. Ashley will be cremated with no services being planned at this time.
Mr. Ashley is a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp, and we all owe him a great debt of gratitude for his service.
His survivors include his children, Kevin (Elizabeth) Manus of Tuscola, Illinois, Timmy (Nicole) Ashley of Kankakee, Illinois, Tommy Ashley of Winchester, Tennessee, David Winders (Tosha) of Winchester, Tennessee, Nicholette Ashley of Will Point, Texas, Brianna Ashley of Winchester, Tennessee, Jennifer Lott of Broken Bow, Oklahoma. Two brothers William Ashley (Jean) of Florida, David Manus (Melissa Jackson) of Winchester, Tennessee, two sisters Kathy (Ed) Jillson of Crete, Illinois, and Joan Krueger of Naperville, Illinois, and twenty-three grandchildren. He will forever be missed.
