Janice G. Baker, age 79 of Winchester, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. She was born on December 24, 1946, to the late James Ira Coulson and Geneva Champion Gipson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Larry Coulson, Stevie Coulson, Phyllis Van Gorder, and Randy Gipson. Janice is survived by her husband, Bobby Baker; sons, Roy Baker (Wanda) and Carl Baker; grandchildren, Ashley Mitchell (Chris), C. J. Baker, and Amber Edmonds (T. J.); great-grandchildren, Brylon Mitchell and Allyanne Edmonds; siblings, Donald Coulson (Hughlene), Wayne Coulson, Diane Hill (Stanley), Bobby Coulson (Cat), Patty Shetters, Terry Gipson, and Rhonda Sherrill (Kenny); sister-in-law, Diane Campbell; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 27, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home.
