WINCHESTER – Clark Memorial Elementary School will host a fall festival Friday, Oct. 16, 2026, with family activities in the early evening and a haunted house later that night.
The festival runs from 5 to 7 p.m. The school’s event flyer lists food, games, face painting, crafts and bounce houses, and encourages visitors to wear costumes and bring friends.
The haunted house is scheduled from 7 to 9 p.m., with admission listed at $10. That price appears with the haunted-house portion of the announcement; the flyer does not specify a general festival admission charge or individual activity prices.
Clark Memorial is at 500 N. Jefferson St. in Winchester. Families with questions about the event can contact the school at 931-967-2407.
The Friday celebration comes just ahead of a schedule change affecting families across Franklin County. The school district lists Tuesday, Oct. 20, as a parent-teacher conference day with no student attendance.
Clark Memorial’s own conference calendar entry runs from 9:30 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. Those hours are specific to Clark Memorial. Families should confirm individual appointment arrangements with their child’s teacher or school, and parents at other campuses should check their school’s conference information.
The no-student day gives families a reason to review next week’s transportation and child-care plans while arranging time to discuss classroom progress with teachers. Before a conference, parents can also make a short list of questions about assignments, grades and any learning support their child may need.
The district calendar and Clark Memorial’s event listings are available on their official websites.
