Charles Matthew Ketcherside of Estill Springs, Tennessee, passed from this life on Monday, August 24, 2026, at his residence at the age of 83. A native of Manchester, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Marvin and Edith Lackey Ketcherside and was also preceded in death by his stepson, James Duckett. Charles loved his family and enjoyed fishing, building, outdoor adventures and collecting clocks. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Ruth Ketcherside; son, Micah Ketcherside; daughters, Melissa (Tim) Carney and Melaine Ketcherside and Dwayne Simmons “Per”; stepdaughter, Elizabeth Figueroa; brother, Carl (Janice) Ketcherside; sisters, Linda Rowlins, Nina Bradford and Elizabeth Ketcherside; fifteen grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. The family chose cremation. A Celebration of Life service was planned for Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Highland Hills Church of Christ in Tullahoma.
