August 3, 1947 – October 8, 2026
Carolyn Kay (Payne) Keller, age 79 beloved daughter of Granville P. and Zillah Sims Payne, left this earth to be with her heavenly family on October 8, 2026. She was truly blessed with many loving friends and family every step of the way through her journey. Carolyn was a hairdresser for over fifty years. She spent many hours at ball fields all over the state following Bobby and the boys. She loved crocheting, her hummingbirds and her flowers. Carolyn was a very involved member of Winchester First Baptist Church where she loved working with the youth and children’s programs. She and Bobby were known for bringing donuts on Sunday mornings and the kids loved their sugary treat before Sunday School.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Bobby Dale Keller. God blessed them with two sons, Michael Aaron (Mindi) Keller who blessed them with three grandchildren, Caroline Anne (Matthew) Franxman, Molly Montgomery Keller, and Mason Michael Keller; one great grandchild, Audrey Anne Franxman; and Christopher Mark (Monti) Keller who blessed them with one grandson, Mitchell Granville Keller. She is also survived by one sister, Frances P. Huber and a host of nieces and nephews, and wonderful in-laws. Carolyn is preceded in death by her sister, Delpha Dale Payne Tucker.
In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the children’s/youth ministry at Winchester first Baptist church.
