The Franklin County School District has officially opened online registration for the 2026-2027 school year, allowing families to complete enrollment before students return to the classroom in August.
The online registration system is available for new and returning students in grades 1-12. District officials note that Pre-K and Kindergarten students will continue using traditional paper enrollment forms.
Parents can complete the registration process from home by visiting fcstn.net, where step-by-step instructions and a direct link to the online enrollment portal are available.
To assist families who may need internet access or additional help, the Franklin County Board of Education will host enrollment kiosks every Wednesday in July from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Staff members will be available to answer questions and help parents complete the registration process.

The district is also encouraging families to review the newly released 2026-2027 school calendar while preparing for the upcoming year.
The school year begins with an abbreviated first day on Friday, August 7, with students attending from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. The first full day of school will be Monday, August 10.
Other key dates include Fall Break October 5-9, Thanksgiving Break November 23-27, Winter Break December 21 through January 1, and Spring Break March 22-26. Parent-teacher conferences are scheduled for October 20 and March 9, while the last day of school is set for May 27, 2027.
Parents with questions about enrollment are encouraged to contact their child’s school or the Franklin County Board of Education Central Office at (931) 967-0626.
