Mollie “Marie” Lewis Limbaugh, age 92 of Winchester, passed away Friday, October 2, 2026. She was born in Winchester to the late Newt Madison and Nannie Ann Elizabeth Branch Lewis and was raised by her sister, Elsie Lewis Holt, after losing her parents at a young age.
Marie worked at Franklin Apparel before spending many years in food service, including Mary’s Grill in Winchester, the Kmart Café and Farrar Elementary. She was known for her warm smile, her cooking and the joy she found in spending time with her children, grandchildren and later generations of her family.
A lifelong member of Marble Plains Baptist Church, Marie remained deeply connected to her church family throughout her life.
She is survived by her sons, Dwight (Dana) Limbaugh, Jimmy (Pam) Limbaugh and Johnny Limbaugh; daughter, Debra Limbaugh Stovall; several grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 6, from noon until 2:00 p.m. at Marble Plains Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m., with interment at Marble Plains Church Cemetery.
