Monica Sue Clayton, age 72 of Belvidere, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at her residence. She was born in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Anthony and Lillian Ross and worked in retail sales before her retirement. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Steven Clayton. Sue is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Michelle Clayton; grandchildren, Jessica, Ashley and Robert Clayton; and great-grandchildren, Adrain Ramos and Ava Jones. Services were to be held at a later date.
