Glenwood Karrio

January 4, 1965 – June 10, 2026

We are gathered here today to remember Glenwood, a man who lived his sixty-one years with a spirit that touched everyone he met. To many of you, he was a friend, a coworker, or a neighbor. To me, he was a brother in every way that truly matters.
Glenwood was a man who understood the value of a day’s work. He was the kind of person who would be out there, day in and day out, giving everything he had. He didn’t just work hard because he had to; he worked with a sense of purpose and pride.
But even with that work ethic, he knew how to enjoy the world around him. He was a true outdoorsman at heart. Whether he was out on the water with a fishing rod in his hand or hitting the trails on a four-wheeler, that was when he seemed most at home. He loved the simplicity and the beauty of the outdoors, and he loved sharing those moments with others.
Above all else, Glenwood was a man of faith. He was a strong believer in God, and he made prayer a central part of his daily life. It was that faith that shaped his character and guided his path. It’s what gave him that gentle, friendly nature that made everyone feel welcome the moment they met him.
He was the kind of person who lived with an open hand and an open heart. If you needed help, you didn’t even have to ask—he was already there. He was someone who would truly give you the shirt off his back if he thought it would make your day a little easier. He didn’t just talk about being a good person; he lived it every single day.
Losing someone like Glenwood leaves a void that isn’t easily filled. We will miss his smile, his friendship, and his presence. But we can take comfort in knowing that his work here is done, and he is resting in the arms of the God he served so faithfully.
Glenwood, thank you for being the brother I could always count on. You’ve left a mark on all of us, and while we will miss you deeply, your kindness and your spirit will stay with us for the rest of our lives
