Miranda Lea Tubb, age 49 of Decherd, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. She was born in Alamogordo, New Mexico, on July 24, 1976, to the late Timothy and Nancy (Casteel) Posey. A devoted homemaker, Miranda enjoyed tending to her garden, as well as photography and painting. She loved the time spent with her beloved family, especially traveling with John across the country. A Christian, she was a member of Harmony Cumberland Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by grandparents, Arvell and Elizabeth “Lib” Posey, and Mildred Casteel; and four-legged best friends, Saban and Princess Lu Lu. Miranda is survived by her loving husband, John Tubb; daughters, Callie (Chase) Rhoton and Gracie (Caleb Maybrey) Morse; granddaughter, Ruby Rhoton; brother, Timothy “T.J.” Posey; uncle, Mark (Carol) Posey; niece, Karlee Beth Posey; several extended family members; and four-legged best friend, Nick. Visitation will be from 10am-2pm on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Rev.
