LYNCHBURG, TN – The Jack Daniel Distillery has announced the release of what it calls the most premium and limited global release in company history — the new Jack Daniel’s Halo MK1 Tennessee Whiskey, created in collaboration with the McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 Team.
The special-edition bottle combines luxury whiskey craftsmanship with Formula 1-inspired design and will retail for a suggested price of $599.99.
Jack Daniel’s says the release celebrates the long-running partnership between the Lynchburg-based distillery and McLaren Racing, blending the brands’ shared focus on precision, innovation, and excellence.
The bottle itself takes inspiration from the “HALO” safety structure featured on McLaren Formula 1 race cars. The custom packaging includes alloy metal accents, micro-suede materials, carbon fiber-inspired detailing, a hand-finished cork, and custom medallions designed to give the bottle a collectible, high-end feel.

McLaren Racing Chief Marketing Officer Louise McEwen described the collaboration as a blend of racing heritage and whiskey-making tradition, calling it “authentic and truly collectible.”
Inside the bottle is a specially crafted Tennessee Whiskey distilled in Lynchburg using Jack Daniel’s traditional grain bill of 80% corn, 8% rye, and 12% malted barley. The whiskey undergoes the distillery’s signature charcoal mellowing process before aging in specially prepared American white oak barrels.
Bottled at 117.4 proof, the release also pays tribute to McLaren Racing founder Bruce McLaren, whose first race car carried the number 58.
According to Jack Daniel’s Master Distiller Chris Fletcher, the whiskey features aromas of maple, fruit, and toasted oak, with flavors of caramel, chocolate, pipe tobacco, and baking spice before finishing with lingering barrel spice and brown sugar notes.
Only a limited number of 1-liter bottles are being released worldwide, with purchases available through the Jack Daniel’s website while supplies last.
