Freddie Lee Millsaps

June 30, 1957 – May 8, 2026

Freddie Lee Millsaps of Lynchburg passed this life and entered into the kingdom of heaven on May 8, 2026. Freddie was born June 30, 1957, to Fred and Mary Jane (Bradford) Millsaps who preceded him in death. Freddie met the love of his life, Sheila (McGowan), at the age of 16, and they were later married on June 11, 1977. They made their life in Lynchburg and had two children, Jessica (Trevor) Horton of Tullahoma and Joshua (Shannon) Millsaps of Lynchburg who all survive him. Freddie was lovingly known as “Pa” to his six grandchildren: Tyler (Vivian) Millsaps, Zachery Millsaps, Emma Millsaps, Sawyer Williamson, Presley Williamson, and Brayden Horton. He also leaves behind his beloved companion, Peanut. Additionally, Freddie is survived by his sister, Darlene Millsaps of Lynchburg, and his brother, Ricky (Mike) Millsaps of Mulberry, as well as two nephews, Derek (Shanna) Millsaps, and Tyler (Paige) Millsaps.
Freddie had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior. He valued life’s small pleasures: the company of his wife and family, good food, and mowing his yard. Freddie loved his family deeply, and they were his pride and joy. He leaves behind a legacy of lasting love.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Lynchburg Funeral Home in Lynchburg, Tennessee with burial to follow at Lynchburg Cemetery.
