Estill Springs, TN – The Estill Springs Cub Scouts Pack 391 are stepping up to serve the community later this month with a food drive benefiting local families in need.
According to the Estill Springs Police Department, Pack 391 will conduct a food drive on February 28, 2026, collecting non-perishable food items throughout designated areas of Estill Springs. A map outlining the collection areas has been posted on the Estill Springs Police Department Facebook page.

Residents are asked to be mindful of the Scouts as they make their rounds. Each Scout will be accompanied by an adult during the collection effort.
The local drive is part of a nationwide service initiative known as “Scouting for Food,” which runs from February 11 through February 25. Donations gathered during this period will go directly to support the food pantry at First Baptist Church in Estill Springs, which hosts a monthly food bank on the second Saturday of each month.
Organizers are seeking canned and boxed food items, non-perishable snacks, cereals and grains, baby food and formula, bottled water and juice boxes. Residents who wish to participate can place bagged donations outside their front doors for pickup or drop them off at designated locations listed by the Pack.

Community leaders say projects like this not only provide vital resources for families but also give young Scouts the opportunity to learn the value of service, teamwork and helping neighbors in need.
For additional information about the food drive or to coordinate a donation, residents may contact Cub Master Bailee McClure at (615) 934-9226.
