Cathy Marie Smith, born on January 6, 1958, passed away at her home with her family by her side on Saturday, February 14, 2026, in Hillsboro, Tennessee at the age of 68 years.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February18, 2026 from the Chapel of Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home in Tullahoma, Tennessee. Cremation will follow. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday with the family from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
Cathy grew up in McMinnville, Tennessee and she is the daughter of the late Jack and Jessie Horn. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lee W. Smith who passed away September 16, 2015. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Judy Horn and brother, Johnny Horn.
Cathy was a loving woman. Some of her happiest moments were spent outdoors feeling the warmth of the sun on her face with a Sundrop and a cigarette in hand with her family around her. She is at peace now with her husband, parents and other family members. She was truly loved and will be missed.
Cathy and Lee Smith have 4 children: Michelle (Eric) Rogers, Kristy (Pat) Holt, John and Bethany Smith. Cathy has several grandchildren: Baily, Eric, Kylee, Gavin, Eli, Hannah, Kane and Cody.
