Loretta Curtis Bell Burt of Tullahoma, Tennessee passed from this life on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at NHC of Tullahoma in Tullahoma, Tennessee at the age of 83 years.
A native of Sequatchie, Tennessee, she is the daughter of the late Louis and Elizabeth Curtis Bell. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Eddie Bell.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 16, 2026, at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home in Tullahoma, Tennessee. Burial will follow at Turkey Creek Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday from 12: 00 PM until the time of service.
Loretta served as the office manager for many years working side by side with her husband at their family-owned business, Burt Contracting. She is a member of Wesley Heights Methodist Church in Tullahoma, Tennessee and a High School graduate.
Her survivors include her husband of 49 years, William Don Burt Sr. of Tullahoma, Tennessee, children, Jeff (Tracy) Shadrick, John Shadrick of Whitwell, Tennessee, Willaim Don (Gina) Burt Jr. of Tullahoma, Tennessee and Angelia Hannah of Tullahoma, Tennessee.
Loretta is also survived by six grandchildren.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend and she will be forever missed.
