Savitaben Lalbhai Patel, age 80 of Winchester, formerly of India, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. Savitaben was born on May 10, 1945, in India, to the late Manilal Khusaldas Patel and Parvatiben Muldas Patel. She enjoyed playing a good game of cards, preparing wonderful meals for her family and spending time with her grandsons and great-grandsons. Savitaben was very faithful in attending services at the Temple, reading religious and spiritual books and listening to devotional songs. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lalbhai Patel, who passed away in 2018; and son, Rajesh Kumar Patel, who passed away in 2025. Savitaben is survived her daughter, Gita Bahen Patel; sons, Vinodkumar Patel, and Ashvinkumar Patel; grandchildren, Asmitaben Patel, Jinalben Patel, Krishna Patel, Monika Patel, Asikkumar Patel, Jay Patel, and Keni Patel; many great-grandchildren and extended family in India.
