Rickey Lee Bolden Sr

Ricky Lee Bolden Sr., age 69 of Huntland, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Rickey was born on January 26, 1956, in Franklin County to the late Andrew Jackson and Mary Louise (Wiggs) Bolden. He worked for Shadows Nursery and enjoyed playing softball, rabbit hunting and going to the local dirt track. Rickey was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Atlanta Braves fan; and never missed a game on tv. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church when he was younger. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Louise Garner, Andrew Bolden Jr., James Bolden, Jimmer C. Bolden, and Judy Bolden. Rickey is survived by his sons, Rickey Bolden Jr., Chris Bolden, Jason Bolden, and Curtis Bolden’ grandchildren, Rickey III, Christian, Wyatt, Raine, Dezman, Killian, and Issabelle; great-grandchildren, Ricky IV, and Kadence; sister, Candy Kwilos; mother of children, Debbie Bolden; long time friend and caregiver, Brenda Ashley; special niece who were raised like siblings, Jancie Mallard; special nephew, Roger (Roho) Garner; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
