The Gators officially unveiled a new “Dark Mode” look this week in partnership with 931Go.com and ESPN Radio Winchester, introducing a black jersey and black pants combination to the program’s growing uniform lineup.
North has traditionally featured red, gray and white uniforms, but the addition of black gives the Gators a bold new edge heading into the upcoming season. The all-black combination is designed to bring a tougher, more aggressive presence to the field — while still honoring the school’s red, gray, and white identity.
Head Coach Landon Relford says the new look represents more than just a uniform change.
“Every generation of players wants to leave their mark on a program,” Relford said. “This is part of that opportunity for this group. They’ve worked hard, and they deserve something they can take pride in.”
The “Dark Mode” theme adds excitement and identity for a team looking to build momentum and confidence. In today’s era of athletic branding and school pride, uniforms have become an extension of culture — and North is embracing that energy.
The new black jerseys and pants will rotate alongside the program’s existing red and white sets, giving the Gators multiple combinations throughout the season.
One thing is certain: when the Gators go Dark Mode, they won’t be hard to spot.
