One person was killed after authorities attempted to serve a warrant, according to District Attorney Craig Northcott.
At about 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, multiple shots were fired on West Lincoln Street when Tullahoma Police attempted to serve the warrant on 58-year-old Thomas Hackworth at his place of employment. Northcott said the warrant was related to a charge of sexual assault on a minor out of Michigan.
Northcott said when police made entry into the establishment, they found Hackworth deceased with a gunshot to the roof of his mouth.
More information is expected to be released after Tullahoma Police and the District Attorney's office finishes their investigation.
