Obituary for Linda Ann Slater

Linda Ann Morrison Slater of Tullahoma, Tennessee passed from this life on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Brookdale Assisted Living in Tullahoma, Tennessee at the age of 83 years.

A native of Henderson, Tennessee, she is the daughter of the late Malcolm and Ruth Marsh Morrison. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Evelyn Bishop, Sharon Morrison and Charlotte Morrison, brother in laws, Carl Skaggs and Gerold Bishop.

Private family only graveside services will be held on Monday, February 3, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Tullahoma, Tennessee. A private family visitation will be held on Monday at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home in Tullahoma from 1:00 PM until the time of departure for the graveside service.

Linda was a high school graduate and of the Catholic faith. She was a loving mother and grandmother; an excellent cook and she enjoyed taking care of her family. Linda was very close to her grandson, Alex. She took care of him while his parents worked and grew up considering grandma’s house, his second home.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, son, Jonathan (Jennifer) Slater of Tullahoma, Tennessee, brothers, Andy (Judy) Morrison of Henderson, Tennessee, Curtis (Norma) Morrison of Henderson, Tennessee, sisters, Sylvia Skaggs of Collierville, Tennessee, Jane Maness of Henderson, Tennessee, Beverly Hay of Henderson, Tennessee, Judy (Richard) Johnson of Jackson, Tennessee and Van (Jeff) Cooper of Henderson, Tennessee, one grandson, Alex Slater of Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
