Lisa Irene Owens

Lisa Irene Owens, age 58 of Winchester, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at Saint Thomas West in Nashville. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 5, 1966. A dedicated homemaker, she enjoyed working in her flower garden and cooking. Lisa spent her leisure time reading books, watching NASCAR and movies, and listening to music. Her kind and caring nature combined with her Christian faith was evident in the way she treated others as well as the many things she did to help those around her. Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Glenn Smith; brother, Tracy Smith; sister, April Smith; and granddaughter, Ellie Marie Owens. She is survived by her loving husband of thirty-five years, Marshall Owens; children, Elizabeth (Stephen) Gray and Braxton Owens; grandchildren, Nathan Gray, Amelia Gray, Daniel Owens, and Briley Owens; sister, Laura (Thomas) Barrett; and nieces and nephews, Marsha, Steven, Sheyenne, Jordan, Leslie, Kayla B, Kayla J, Craig, Stephen, Ian, Matt, and Ashley. Visitation will be from 12-2pm on Friday, March 28, 2025, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Bro.
