Geneva Ann Teters James of Tullahoma, Tennessee passed from this life on Friday, April 4, 2025, at her residence in Tullahoma. at the age of 83 years.
A native of Coffee County, Tennessee she is the daughter of the late Arthur Lee and Maggie Mae Crowe Teters. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Bobby Ray James and 12 siblings.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 7, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Daves-Culbertson funeral home in Tullahoma, Tennessee. Per her wishes, she will be cremated following the visitation.
Geneva was a wonderful cook, and she especially enjoyed baking. She loved her family very much and cherished the time she spent with them. Geneva was a wonderful mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren more than anything, but she held a special bond with her youngest great grandchild, Paislee May. She was employed at Life Care Center of Tullahoma where she retired after 33 years of service.
Her survivors include her children, Thomas Alvis (Susan) James of Lynchburg, Tennessee, Cindy Coulson of Tullahoma, Tennessee, brothers, Vernon (Debbie) Teters of Estill Springs, Tennessee, Kenneth Teters of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, sisters, Linda Nelson of Estill Springs, Tennessee, Virginia Sutton of Vista, California, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
