Tullahoma Fire Stations One and Two both responded to a structure fire at 210 Wildwood Dr in Tullahoma on Sunday, March 23. The fire was contained in the carport area of the home, resulting in minor damage to the attic and adjacent walls. There were no injuries.
Fire Chief Kenneth Pearson states, “Fire crews quickly extinguished the fire to minimize damage.” It appears to have originated in the carport area, and they executed the call perfectly to stop any spread and kept the neighborhood safe.”
Neighbors told 931 News that it sounded like an explosion when the fire started.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, and further information will be released once the investigation is complete.
