Eric Lawton Hopper Obituary

August 17, 1979 - February 2, 2025

ERIC LAWTON HOPPER, age 45, of Decherd, Tenn., departed this life suddenly at his residence on Sunday, February 2, 2025.  Mr. Hopper was born in Winchester, Tenn., on August 17, 1979 to Kathy Lynn Pickett Hopper and the late Michael Lawton Hopper. He was employed for several years at the former Micro Craft, Inc. in Tullahoma, Tenn.  After leaving his employment there he was employed by SPM in Shelbyville.  Mr. Hopper has also worked part-time in the Lawn Care Business and been a self-employed Lawn Care owner. He has always enjoyed fishing, hiking and the great outdoors.  He has been a member of the Tullahoma Seventh Day Adventist Church for many years.  He loved his Lord and his Church.  His greatest desire has been to follow the Lord and win everyone he could to the Lord.  His desire for this made him a magnificent witness for his Lord. Mr. Hopper was a kind man that will be greatly missed in the hearts of all of his family and Church family.

Mr. Hopper is survived by his mother, Kathy Hopper of Decherd, Tenn., daughter, Ava Hopper of Bowling Green, Ky., brother, Clint Hopper of Decherd, sister, April Lynn Hopper of Estill Springs, Tenn., nephews: MacCade Pratt, Alex Pratt, Landon Hopper, Eli Hopper, nieces, Hannah Farrar and Graceland Summers.  Several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Memorial service will be held at a later date at the Tullahoma Seventh Day Adventist Church.
