Franklin County came out swinging on Monday night, but couldn’t keep pace with a hot-hitting Warren County squad, falling 15-3 on the road.

Warren County quickly took control in the bottom half of the inning. Wells came through again, this time with a two-run single to give the Lady Pioneers a 5-3 lead.
The third inning saw Warren County break things wide open, capitalizing on defensive miscues and timely hitting to score five runs. Lily Rains chipped in an RBI single during the rally.
The Lady Pioneers added five more in the fourth, thanks to a triple by Kyaira Sharpe and RBIs from Ceilee Gudat, Rains, and Wells, who drove in two more on a fielder’s choice.
Dalayna Marshall got the start in the circle for Franklin County, going three innings and allowing 11 hits and 12 runs (seven earned), while striking out two. Sharpe pitched four innings for Warren County, holding Franklin County to just four hits and three runs.
Edge led the offense for Franklin County, driving in all three runs from the nine-spot and going 1-for-2 on the day. She was joined by Kyleigh Decamp, Madi Morris, and Victoria Nelson, who each tallied a hit. The Rebelettes also turned a double play in the game.
Warren County’s offense racked up 15 hits, with Wells leading the charge with four RBIs. Rains and Sharpe each had three hits, while Gudat, Ky Damon, and Wiser also turned in multi-hit performances.
